As the self-storage supplier for Kris Kringle Enterprises, we sit down with the big guy for our Santa Claus exclusive every holiday. This year was no different, as Santa explained his hopes and dreams for this holiday season. He gave us a sneak peek into his Christmas operation and what he wished parents would stop getting wrong about him year after year.
————————————————————————————————————————————-
Storage Seeker: Santa, it is so great to see you live and in person! Tell us, after the challenges faced last year, what has changed for Christmas 2021? Does it look different?
Santa Claus: Well, because our team is vaccinated, my helpers can now deliver gifts in person. However, we have decided to continue with the local operations we started during the pandemic – which you and your team were integral in setting up. By shipping the gifts to local self-storage units in nearly every city globally, my elves can disperse gifts quickly. The affordable prices keep us on budget, and the convenient locations keep us on track.
Storage Seeker: Wait, you don’t deliver the toys anymore?
Santa Claus: I supervise the delivery. Listen, at this age; I can’t risk blowing out my back again. I already did that in May weight lifting – Mrs. Clause would never let me hear the end of it! Listen, at this age; I can’t risk blowing out my back again.
Storage Seeker: You are looking great Santa, I didn’t realize you had been lifting!
Santa Claus: Nobody does – you know how frustrating it is when parents keep leaving me cookies? Leave me some vegetables or something! That’s another reason for the elves – it’s not easy staying in shape with all of those sweets around.
After a brief break to discuss family and vacation plans, Santa had a few more things to say.
“I’m tired of parents telling their kids that I’m watching them. Yes, I want to make sure their kids are well behaved – but to say I’m sitting up here in the North Pole watching and waiting for them to make a mistake is upsetting. I’ve never felt comfortable being used as a bargaining tool. I’m here to support parents, but gee-whiz! Don’t make me out to be the bad guy.”
Storage Seeker: Noted! Is there anything else you would like us to share with our readers?
Santa Claus: Yes! Don’t be so focused on the presents. Yes, I know parents use self-storage units to hide their gifts too – but just remember, the holiday season is about so much more than the presents. It’s about the love that each one of us shares. Demonstrate that love for your children during the holiday, and the new year will be better than any other, not only for you but for the world around you.
In the words of Calvin Coolidge, “Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.”
From Santa and the team at Storage Seeker: Warmest wishes for a beautiful holiday season and a happy and healthy new year!
